As we continue our ambitious plan to build a full sized Astro Pitch and Community Walkway, we would like to sincerely thank everyone who has supported our fundraising efforts so far. We are overwhelmed with the support shown by local businesses and the general public to date in this fundraising drive.
Following a pause in sports capital grants last year we await news on the 2024 allocation over the next few months.
Huge works has already gone into this fundraising campaign with more still to do. We hope to advance this project to contractor selection once the sports capital grant allocation is secured.
We cannot thank you enough for the fantastic work done by our club coaches, mentors and supporting management teams at Senior, Schoolboy and Schoolgirl level.
To every player who gives so much of their time and commitment to Macroom FC and to all the parents and club volunteers/supporters – we really appreciate your continued support of the Club – Thank you all.
It is your club, and we look forward to providing first class facilities to support our local community and our players development for the years ahead.

Our latest Astro fundraiser was for a fantastic overnight trip for 2 to Dublin to see the sold out Republic of Ireland v Netherlands Euro 2024 fixture in September
This was a great opportunity to roar on the Boys in Green as well as see Holland, one of the great global footballing nations, play at the Aviva Stadium.

Congratulations to our latest fundraiser winner – Owen McCarthy who collected his two match tickets for Rep of Ireland v Netherlands game plus accommodation and €200 spending money from club chairman Denis Murray and club member David Shine. Once again thanks to all who supported the draw where all funds raised will go towards the development of our Astro turf pitch at Murray Field.
