Membership
Macroom FC playing membership currently stands at 545. The recent growth of the club is reflected in this figure and is made up of players from Macroom, the parishes that surround the town and even beyond. Having players from many different parishes is something we are very proud of and we feel is very unique. The increasing playing numbers is also a direct result of the good service we provide and the excellent reputation we have in Cork football circles. Not included in the playing figure are all the behind the scenes non playing members. These consist of our various committees and officers (all volunteers), who play a vital role in ensuring Macroom FC is run from day to day and week to week. Membership typically opens during the summer as the football season normally begins in August/September and finishes in May/June of the following year.
